Prime Minister Trudeau announced that the CERB will be extended for an additional 8 weeks today.
What does this mean for dealerships?
For those employees on CERB and returning to work on a casual or part time basis, the $1000 earning limit will still apply. As well, for those dealerships that were concerned that they would not be able to return staff before the benefit runs out, there is additional time to finalize your return to work strategies.
For those dealerships that may be experiencing staff hesitation, this extension may impact the level of eagerness that staff have to return to the work place.
